Get a singleton

Returns a singleton content type’s one entry, such as a site’s footer or opening hours.

Responses carry a weak ETag; send it back as If-None-Match to get 304 Not Modified. Cache-Control: private, max-age=30, stale-while-revalidate=120.

A type that is not a singleton, or one that has not been published, is a 404.

typeKeystringRequired: The singleton content type’s key.

Query parameters

localestring: A configured locale code. Defaults to the workspace’s default locale; an unknown code is a 400.
fallbackbooleanDefault true: When true, an entry missing in locale is served in its fallback language, then the default.; truefalse
fieldsstring: Comma-separated field keys to return, e.g. title,hero. Unknown or private fields are a 400.
includenumberDefault 1: How many levels of media and reference fields to resolve into objects (0–3). Anything unresolvable stays as { id }.
statusstringDefault published: draft reads drafts — only a secret key with content:preview.; publisheddraft
